Posted January 5, 201114 yr is there a bid difference. how do the compare in quality and loudness. which one would be better. the audioque are 139 and the ssd 179. any other subs within that price range that are loud?
January 6, 201114 yr Admin Better for what? There is a nearly identical topic in the General Audio section on here. I personally feel the Fi is worth the few extra dollars.
January 13, 201114 yr Since going over seas, the quality of audioque drivers has severely decreased. Spending the extra money is well worth it in this case. There is no sense in spending 140 on a sub that may not be constructed with care. Edited January 13, 201114 yr by Deto1992
January 14, 201114 yr I agree, SSD for sure. I'd never try to use an SDC2.5 outside of recommended power or anything without expecting it to die a quick death. SSD's are just better built and designed. I haven't done A/B testing between the two but I'd suspect the SSD will outperform in every aspect. In that price range for other options, Sundown SA12.
January 14, 201114 yr I have had experience with both drivers and the SSD hands down was a better sounding driver.
