Imo CCA is not worth it regardless of gauge. Copper ftw.

yes, i use Knu's CCA because i double up on everything.

2 1/0 runs of CCA can handle more current and less resistance than 1 run of Kolossus and 2 runs of CCA cost about the same as 1 run of Kolossus.

I just bought about 50ft of the Knu OFC in 1/0 and another 10ft of the 4ga. Looks to be great quality and easy to work with. I also purchased some 10ga speaker wire and it looks huge! The jacket is as big as the 1/0...lol.

Its easy to worry to much when making a buy like this, just pick something out all copper and be done with it. Also if it is the new sa1500v.2 you may want to run a 150 amp fuse near the amp since it doesnt have them. Atleast thats what I was recommended to do.

Knu is over rated. Sure it's nice but you pay of it. I have used knu in one of my cars and found it hard to work with because it is so over sized. For the price I spent on knu I got a roll of Stinger pro and didn't have to cut one extra strand of wires to fit them in to my terminals or amp. That said it is true to 1/0 sizing nothing extra and no thick jacket. As for the Bullz stuff I probably wouldn't use their power wire but their speaker wire and fuse blocks are GREAT for the price they are duplicate to ones costing 2-3 times more.

I run knokoncepts kolossus flex wire in my truck and it's been fine. i run an saz-3000d and i haven't had any voltage problems or any irregularity problems at all. Just thought i'd let you know for extra personal experience! Good luck on the search bro, can't wait for my R's to come in the mail! :morepower1:

Hgaha. Ok. Only reason I ask is becahuse they have 30ft for. $2.33/ft. Free shipping. On ebay. Just as cheap as.any welding cable. If not cheaper. So I was just curious.

12 gauge is on the large size, so 8 would have been a waste.

X2^^

Only way I would use 8 gauge is if I had extra lying around. 12 gauge is more than enough. Look at the size of your tinsel leads, nowhere near the size of 8 gauge.

Another option for power cable is This click on the Ultra Flex link and check out the orange wire. :peepwall:

Goodd stuff with this link mann thanks

but if you do piece one together, here are some RCAs that people seem to like :)

Think i'll order some soon, knu sent me their EKO RCAs and i dont like them.

Wow. That's crazy cheap for RCA's if they're decent......

What would you compare them to as far as quality?

I use monoprice for all of my HA cabling. Good stuff and an excellent price. I picked up a bunch of there iPod cables as well, no issues and are actually nicer then the ones Apple supplied with my iPhone! I will be ordering my RCA's and speaker wire for my car install next week.
