I haven't seen much about the new ones. I'm really liking them but I'm wanting to see what's inside. So if that's possible could somebody post a few pictures.

Well worth the money, very solid amplifier.

My 40.1 is my favorite audio purchase I have made. There is a picture of it's guts on this page of my build log http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/39469-ulrisas-volvo-s40-build/page__st__45 . This is the 2006 model so I do not know how it compares to the new one.

I'd assume the new 40.1s are a whole new design.

I have one and love it!!! I have heard it will do 8775 on 17.7 volts @ 12.6 ohms.

I got a question about the heatsink design.

Why is it so tall? I don't see any parts that need the clearance, is this for cooling purposes?

When I first time I really looked at the amp I noticed how tal it was compared to most. And also the holes under the terminals and such. I was quiet interested in why its designed like this.

I'm always looking for new ideals, and finding the meaning behind them.
