The hu im looking for has to have a built in amp and have some good looking color display i looked at a few kenwood jvc etc and im still lost so thought i put this here.

The system thats going into my 01 impala so far is a jl audio JX1000/1D amp as far as the speakers ive been looking at some ssa subs but i need to get the hu outta my way 1st.

Thank you in advance.

So all your looking for is a color display and an internal amp? Pick any of the 99% of the head units on the market that you like.

What do you mean "built in amp" all radios have one.....

No, not all head units have a built in amplifier. The most popular that comes to mind is the CD7200MKii.

Sigh I am aware some do not, but I don't think he is looking to drop $500-$600 on a non screen radio. They are called "dead-heads".
