I have a 12 " bl and I am about to begin building a new box for it. I want to use the same cut outs posted on here but I want to make the box with the sub facing up and the port facing the back door on my jeep. Does anyone know how to modify the cut out given to make it this way or do I need to make a whole new design?

Easy as putting the hole for the sub in the top of the box and leaving the port firing back.

Thats what I thought but the outer diameter for the sub is like 12.5" and the from the edge of the box to the point where the port turns into to box is only a little over 11" on the cut out. Would not having the double plates on the front make it more room for the sub to fit next to the port?
