February 12, 201114 yr Both sets are under 150w and look to be pretty nice... The Polks have higher sensitivity which is good for getting loud and not struggling... Phoenix Gold RDs65csPolk Audio DB6501
February 12, 201114 yr The Phoenix Gold RSD's that Shogen linked are a great bang for the buck!Up your budget a little and the ID CTX's are nice too.
February 12, 201114 yr I have the Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5 components, haven't hooked them up yet though. There are several good choices under $150. Crescendo, Alpine type R, Bravox D series come to mind. Are you looking for components, coax, just mids? You sure didn't give us much to go on.
February 12, 201114 yr image dynamics ctx $189there is a set for sale on forums for $160, but better jump on it fast

February 13, 201114 yr Most people in general are satisfied with a good set of coax. There's more tuning involved with the components but when you dial them in, the listening experience is usually greatly enhanced. Do you plan on running an amp to them? If not, a set of coax would probably be better. What are you using/going to be using for a sub stage?
February 13, 201114 yr All hifonic haters!! lol jk but yeah image dynamics does have some nice products!
