I was needing you guys help on finding a good pair of 6.5s for a budget of about 150 dollars.. All answers would be greatly appreciated!!

Hifonics Zeus 6.5's AMAZING take all 110rms i throw at them and sound nice and clear, midbass isnt the best but dam do they scream. Buying the 5.25 verison's for my wagon soon :)))

Both sets are under 150w and look to be pretty nice... The Polks have higher sensitivity which is good for getting loud and not struggling...

Phoenix Gold RDs65cs

Polk Audio DB6501

The Phoenix Gold RSD's that Shogen linked are a great bang for the buck!

Up your budget a little and the ID CTX's are nice too.

I have the Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5 components, haven't hooked them up yet though. There are several good choices under $150. Crescendo, Alpine type R, Bravox D series come to mind. Are you looking for components, coax, just mids? You sure didn't give us much to go on.

image dynamics ctx $189

there is a set for sale on forums for $160, but better jump on it fast

Kinda Scared to drill a hole for tweets but It really doesnt matter I just want something that plays really good....what do u recommend???

Most people in general are satisfied with a good set of coax. There's more tuning involved with the components but when you dial them in, the listening experience is usually greatly enhanced. Do you plan on running an amp to them? If not, a set of coax would probably be better. What are you using/going to be using for a sub stage?

All hifonic haters!! lol jk but yeah image dynamics does have some nice products!
