I think I finally decided on a set up. Please tell me if this is optimal for my situation or if im going overboard. The car is a bmw 5 series, the sub will be in the trunk. The trunks tend to be sealed very well in these cars so I need the sub to penetrate. I listen to mainly hippity hop and rap. I want the best of both worlds trunk space left and good sound.

10" ICON

ported box probably built to specs of the optimal one in the tech section

what do you guys think. The only thing I was thinking to change was to go with a cheaper amp. Any reccomendations?

sundown makes a nice amp, if you can afford it i would stay with them. Not sure if the ICON's are back in stock yet, might want to check into that

Sounds like a good list of equipment. Pretty sure they are still tweeking the new icons...I have a Sundown 1000D that I am looking to sell, let me know if interested.

Im in get something mode :dancing: Would the sa10 be at all comparible to the icon? I guess I wouldnt know the difference. I did have a jlw6 for while in a different ride . how does a jlw6 compare to a sa10?

The SA is a different driver. A great option is a Fi Q, but there are many available.
