Posted March 3, 201114 yr So I've searched this subject just can't seem to find an answer. I have a 15" SSD basket and motor(double stack), how can I tell what coil was in it before? I don't want to buy the wrong coil and it not fit as FI says the flatwind coil option has an upgraded motor. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!who owned it before? where did the cone go? i would just order a dual 1 ohm recone if your not sure cause the dual 1 ohm coil will fit the dual 2 ohm gap... not sure on the motor being different on a flatwound coil thought it was just the flat wire Vs. the round wire
March 3, 201114 yr Author A member on a different forum. I bought it like that. I contacted him so hopefully I get a response soon. Well when I asked FI they said that when you get the flatwound coil the motor is upgraded, but I asked how you would tell and got no response.
