Alright sorry to start asking questions again but the whole thing is complicated. the reason im so intrested in buying these subs is because im buying them for a good price. I talked to the original owner of the subs and he works for an audio shop, he claims there RE MT's is there a way to tell the difference between the RE MT 18 and the triple stack BTL 18? And if they are MT's then they cant have the SPL option right?

If they are MT's, they have a chrome top and bottom plate.

Also, MT's don't have a bolt holding the pole in place like the BTL.

Well I have a thought, I would assume most SPL subs would have the Flatwind coil vs HiXmax. But I'm not 100% about that.

But if it has cooling, and HiXmax coil, I'd would assume its not a SPL.

So take pictures inside the vent holes. Take from multiple holes, so we can see if they are there or not.
