Def. try to get the hook up, if not i advise doing it yourself. Cant be too hard with a little research. I assume we have about the same engine, and i'm going to tackle mine when i get it. Take the wheel off, move some stuff around and it should be right there. You can do it!

Thanks for the encouragement lol, sometimes I get in the mood to take a day and accomplish something awesome like this and others, if i find a cheap deal I get them to do it as i know they will do it correctly and if not they will fix it til its right lol. Im afraid id get it out and not be able to get the new one in and then get depressed. but either way ill figure it out I guess.

good luck... I don't know if I wanna take the risk... I know someone who works at autozone so I might just have to pay partial labor... But I haven't figured what alternator to get either...
