My friend is getting one, and I suggested to him a mb quart amp running 400 watts rms. Would it be overkill to push the envelope to 500rms? He was asking me, but I am not the expert. Im pretty sure he isnt gain happy, but I am just curious if 500 would be fine, and to watch the gains, or 500 at all?

I tried a few searches but I cant say I searched long, because he is waiting on me, and I have a few things to get done before the day is up, so I apologize.
