Posted April 16, 201114 yr Hi all,I will be using the Alpine Imprint Module with my Alpine iDA-x305S. My Question is, will I have to use the disc and mic tuning kit (KTX-H100) for tuning or when I plug the unit in; will it unlock all the tuning features of the imprint and I can tune it manually? because that's what I would prefer..thanks.

NO need for the KTX-H100 tuning kit. The mic and discs function is for auto calibration. The laptop program lets you pick and download two (out of 3) auto tuned FR curves. You can switch between the two auto tuned settings or back to manual with the push of the imprint button on the HU.I didn't care for the auto tuned settings, they where way to dry or sterile sounding for my tastes.
