May 17, 201114 yr ok, we just figured out what it was..I just got off the phone with the OP...he has 2 zcons 18s..Apparently, when the subs were receiving power, the wire came loose at the amp(speaker wire) and grounded on the case...Well, the amp was mounted to a conductive material and that material is ran to the speaker box which is built out of steel...huh....It caused a massive arc inside the van and smoke was everywhere...A couple of XS batts exploded in the process but the Zcons are still functioning or were until the electrical system got damaged...It was still playing "I Put On..." until the batts exploded...I'm goin up there tomorrow night to rebuild his XS batts for him and take his stetsom amp apart and make sure nothing is damaged...You will be fine TeamRamrod..
