I would like to get a FI 12 Q sub. On the front page of the FI website it says "All subwoofers are custom made to your desired options in 3-7 business days" but contradicts itself when you go to order the sub which says "30 day build time due to US steel delays." Which one is it? I want one of these subs but not sure I want to wait 30 days for a build on it.

It usually takes 3-7 days I believe. Due to the steel shortage though, it may take a while longer. They can't really make something without the parts ya know.

The actual wait is the month or so depending on the steel... Sucks but worth the wait... Those subwoofers get crazy reviews... :fing34:

I might cry right now haha. I really do want one of these subs. I just dont think I can force myself to wait that long unless you put me to sleep for 30 days

Honestly like stated above, it's worth the wait.

Do something else to progress your build. For example, sound deadening, wire your amp, do the big 3, upgrade your speakers, replace the head unit, make your box, or have someone make it for you if you don't have the proper tools. Then, when you have your sub all you have to do is throw the sucker in and have fun.

Fi is going all american with the steel now I believe, if they were to get it from across the sea, then theyd be rolling these things out like theres no tomorrow (literally, the world ends tomorrow haha). Sometimes you got to be patient for great products by great people.

If you go visit bassahaulic he can put you to sleep for a long time... In his bed of course.... :peepwall:
