You just replace alternator+ to battery+, battery- to chassis, and engine ground to chassis cables with an upgraded gauge wire basically right?

    You could, but I would do 1/0 through-out myself.

    There's a ton of threads on wiring. Just search. Try looking into welding wire. weldingsupply.com or call a local welding supply shop. Its pure copper so you should treat the exposed ends there was a thread about this like 2 days ago
