Hey guys, I have a 2000 gmc Sierra with the 5.3, I was wondering if I get the dual alt get could I run a factory alt as the second one. Will the bolt holes line up correctly and would that Change the belt tension or anything like that? instead of one of yours for a couple months. I'm low on cash and have a spare oem alternator. And once I get more money saved up, get a 250xp or something of the sort. Thanks! looking forward to doing business with you!

Yes, absolutely.. That is the only way limo builders will run duals generally, so it's actually more popular for us than the with an H/O alt.. If you just put a factory alt in, your literally doubling your output at top end and idle ~300 top end and ~200+ at idle... That beats ANY single alternator hands down.. When your ready, you can always upgrade.. No need to think you HAVE to when in reality adding a second "stock" alternator is FAR better than even our very best single alt... Rob
