sorry to say.. but intel is tons faster vs amd.. amd is more geared towards gaming.. intel is more geared toward the overall experience as a whole...

And yes, i've built both.

AMD is good for the money... But not my choice .. Don't always like to buy what I feel won't make me happy... Which is why I had to upgrade to an XCON ... lol :peepwall:

WAIT.. u went from an AMD to an Xcon? Awesome.. if u show me how to overclock an Xcon.. i will love u forever, hehe.

Damn back in my computer geek days I would know what you all are talking about

Pump it up with 2500wrms, I do :morepower1:

I cant wait for AMD to release the Bulldozer architecture-based CPUs, those are going to be (supposedly) the real competitors of sandy bridge (core i7 2xxx series).

And is true, AMD is the best bang for the buck if you are on a budget. If you are a gamer, and you have $400 to spend on a video card, then I dont see why should you bother with anything but Intels high-end (1155 k-series and 1366 socket based cpus)

On a site note, I was going watercooling, but wanted to make it so fancy I just stopped when I realized it was gonna cost me $1000 lol
