I have a Hifonics XX-Colossus II, would the new Hifonics Colossus be better or worse?

Exactly, it could be the same internals they just finally paid to have it cea certified.

I would say they are still very similar amps.

Looks like the biggest difference is the adjustable Q on the Parametric EQ.

mm, I guess if I'm going to upgrade it will be a XXV Sampson instead of a new Colossus.
