Well I know MB Quart was bought by Rockford Fosgate a few years ago and the quality of their speakers went down. Now MB Quart is owned by Maxxsonics...the makers of HiFonics, Crunch, and Autotek.

Are the new line of MB Quart speakers any good? I have a set of MB Quart speakers made the year before they were bought by RF and I love them....but will their new speakers be as good? I'm looking at the Premium line specifically.

who knows i wasnt a fan of MB anyway but we'll see what maxxsonics does with them probably nothing

Maxxsonics has deleted all the rockford crap and also they cut the mark up back to reasonable

Actually, RF had nothing to do with the actual driver side of the company, just the amps. The drivers were all previous Quart designs, just freshened up and re-marketed. That's courtesy of a CA&E review.

Quart will still be designed by the buds overseas. Maxxsonics will also use those guys to design maxxsonics speakers to help better their current line.
