what can i do or use to reduce road noise

i have a 2000 silverado single cab, and has a lowered suspension, so i hear everything from the road, also installed a flowmaster, and when going at 60, it bothers me enough that i sometimes cant hear the music

thanks

ok, thanks, where should i install it, or how

The best thing to do is read through the description of the MLV and CCF and then email Don at SDS explaining your goals and he will get you all set up.

Sound proofing the cabin from exterior noises will help. If your exhaust is that loud then maybe you need a quieter muffler ;)

Contact Don of SDS

I hear you with yhe FOLWMASTERS!!! NOW I need some tooo!

I had the same problem....oem exhaust fixed it lol.

ill rather have some mufflers than the silent oem, until i do an engine swap,

the 4.3 doesnt make any noise, atleast with the flowmaster i can hear that its actually turned on

but thanks

If you want quiet it's pretty simple and expensive. You need to cover as much of the inside of your truck with ccf and mlv(up to the window line). Read through the ask don of SDS thread pinned to the top of this forum.
