which one would hit more

The 15's would have more cone area and power handling. But way too many things are going to come into play to say this will be louder than that. What car? What amp? What does your electrical system consist of?

EDIT: Just saw that you said a 3000 watt Rockford. I would go with the eighteens so that you can wire to one ohm and give them 1500 a piece.

Triple 15's would be my choice. Wire down to .67 ohms with D4 coils and you'll be set. Hopefully you have the electrical upgrades required for 3kw+ of power.

ya i know im just getting everything together it should be going in a tahoe would a 200amp alternator 0 gauge wire a 10 fared cap and a battery work for that amps

they better be true DCR 0.9-1.0 and not 0.7s...

Anything below 0.9, more than likely 1ohm stable amp won't be able to handle it.

Is this for daily or competition?

IF it's daily, i'd say 15s.

whatever can fit in the "optimal" enclosure.... with FI that is usually towards the bigger side of their ranges they give...
