June 24, 201114 yr so i have a question for you. what is the difference between a regular tweeter and the neo tweeter you're using? whats the benefit of using them compared to say a horn or dome?
June 24, 201114 yr I definitely recommend using atleast one layer of fiberglass on top of the resin'd fleece. The pillar is long and imo it needs at little bit more support than just resin. That would suck to have the resin and bondo crack on you!

Ill bring the beers. the wifey told me i had to bring home more trophys!Nice, look forward to seeing you there. Looking good Jon. Use a old tee shirt instead of the fleece. The fleece tends to absorb the resin unevenly and will tend to sag. Looks like I'm the only one behind the times and without custom fiberglass pods. Guess it's time to get back in the garage.

June 24, 201114 yr Hugo - I'm not fiberglassing the Caddy at all. So I'll be the odd man out. haha.Jon - I see a lot of people using old t-shirts when im browsing build logs. I think as long as you put some fiberglass mat down on it you should be good to go.
June 25, 201114 yr Jon,go to a fabric store or maybe even wall-mart and get some 100% polyester Ponte cloth.Stretches real nice and wont take a bunch of resin to wet it out. I agree with the above, you are going to want to put some fiberglass over it for strength.Good luck Bro.
