Are you having any problems with your system, do you currently have some type of crossover on your headunit. Asking is it good for my system is not enough information. If you need it then its worth installing but you have to figure out if you need it.

No there's nothing wrong with my system i was cleaning out my garage and i ran across it. I asked the neighborhood music man and he told me if i was to hook it up it will be a noticeable difference in sound. i think my headunit has a built in crossover. LPF is the only setting i see.

Just installing it wont give you better sound at all, unless you know what your doing with it. It can be beneficial to a system if needed but if you dont know what your doing then it will just be another piece of equipment in the install. Are you noticing any peaks or valleys in your system that need improvement or adjusting, if so then it could help out some in that case.

certain songs have sloppy bass, idk if its a setting that could need adjusting or it could be the way the song is. i might just install it since i have it and play with it and if it take away from the system i'll just uninstall it.
