What do you think was the biggest (or most memorable, or something that directly related to you, etc) event of 2005 in the mobile electronics industry?

CES 2005 doesn't count :P

Could be a product release, could be an article, could be a competitor at finals, etc ... whatever you want.

I think SBN is the biggest event in car audio. Any company who is anyone is there. There are over a hundred or two competitor vehicles. Three sound organization events going at once, and to top it off, its spring break. Its an amazing event.

edit: db drag had 68 cars there in 2005

Iasca had 78 entries

I have a few...

watching Scott Owens 180.2 legal run and Kyle's 177.xx legal run off 2 12"

Watching a super portwars car make a TL o into system overload at 182db.
