if i bought 10 of these and made a super big ported box ( i think they are supposed to be IB?)

would it sound worthy of the money i spent (slightly more than the daytons)? spl is more imporant, but sq cant just be dismissed.

I found a ultra cheap in-wall 8" subwoofer. 22 bucks.

thump option 2

I would be using those instead of four dayton 12's

Boom option number 1

here is the problem-

the 8s never gave any Ts parameters...

the dayton 12s gave me something and honestly. if it was ONLY between the 2 choices, i'd go with the 12s.

But remember- both choices(assuming the 8s aren't epic based, lol), aren't comparable to car audio choices out there....

Of course, for the money, i know why you are eyeing these.

Keep the power around 1000w or less for either option and be good to go.

22bucks x 10, budget of around 220.

Why not get some 15" dcons :P

How many of the daytons would you get?

Four dayton 12's. I'm using these primarily in my room, an when i get a car, it will be a crap setup til i get HCCA's. ZCON's

Just save up the money and buy your Zcons, it will just be a waste of money at the end of the day. Or get a Dcon like posted above and when you finally get your car and decide on a subwoofer bring the Dcon in the house as a home sub setup.

1295 post, just like this one.............

Seriously? Try harder in your threads, and this shouldn't be something we have to tell you after 3 years! :(

The driver without information on the enclosure is pointless and if you haven't determined what that might be for a driver or don't know how it should tell you to NOT use that driver. That makes one choice a serious fail and the other something that won't work for what you need I bet.
