Posted August 5, 201114 yr ok so my friend asked me to pick out some options for his first system. he has a 05 impala stock batt. he is not worried about sq; he just wants a daily driver.about 300$ for the subs and i told him to get a ap 1500. seats fold down he is not trying to seal off the trunk. he wanted 2 p1 15s i told him not to do that told him get 3 ia 187 12s, 1 ia li 15 , 2 rex 12s, or 1 15 fi bl. is there any other suggestions i could give him. i also told him to get a new batt. he is not worried about taking up the whole trunk, also the icon 15 was suggested.

September 16, 201114 yr But seriously, I just picked up a 10" Orion XTR from Sonic Electronix for $66 and some change (they are having their 11th anniversary sale). I've only had it for a few days, but it's a damn good sub for the price. If I had the room I'd buy a couple more.
September 21, 201113 yr I am in the middle of doing the same for my friends 2001 Impala. lol We put 2 Atomic APX 12"s on a MTX 1,500 for bass. And a Alpine PDX 4 channel with Bravox Components running Active.
