Iv read many a thread talking about caps and well, nobody likes them ^^. So what i was thinking about doing, instead of just chucking it, would it be possible to remove the LED display and wire it upfront to be used as a voltmeter?

Opinions?

Go for it, if you know what you're doing. I gave my cap. to my high school physics teacher :)

just asked the same question a few days ago, came to the conclusion of no, id rather just buy one for 10 bucks then going thru the hassle of taking it apart and having an oddball display

Ill try it for shits and giggles, if it doesnt look right, ill spend the $10 ;)

Discharge it before meddling with it.

buy about 29 more and have Zenon send you a custom base board, 1" thick PCB with 6awg copper rails inside that will replace the traces in the boards and build a 90,000w amp @8ohm with 10way protection.

Fuck. Yes.

I gave my cap to... oh wait, I never bought one. :)

If I had one, I'd use it to wake people up. :D
