Okay so I'm going to recone my Q series to a dual 1. Its an older Q d2. I'm running a mmats d300hc to this woofer in a closed box about 2.5 cu ft. I love low bass. I want a recone config good for everyday driving and music. Mostly rap. Go with flatwind? Or copper? I want some leeway to have some fun so should I go with bp options for cooling? Enclosure reccomendations? About to order this shit tonight confirmation in the forum would be optimal

If you have the money, might as well get the cooling option. That will help it's thermal power handling.

Might as well get the extra spider option too, it's only $5 and will help with mechanical power handling!

Also; the Q doesn't have a flatwound coil option. :ughdunno:

Copper.

They do not have a copper option either, there is only 1 coil with the Q either D1 or D2.

You can only do a partial BP cooling system on a older Q that does not have it..and it does not work as well as the full out BP.
