Was hearing that its not a good idea to put a ho alt in a charger, because the voltage is regulated by the computer

What is the word on this? Is it worth putting one in?

There is nothing wrong with upgrading that unit with one of our XP series alternators. The newer Dodge PCMs are actually very very spontaneous at responding to voltage drops.

And yes, It's definitely worth putting in your vehicle. You will gain a TON of idle output and will have a ton of power on tap. :D
