September 30, 201113 yr Author Thanks, I'm only about 1 1/2 months into this photography game... I just love taking photos for some reason.. The sunset photos were random too. I was driving home from work on the highway and saw how orange the sky was and I pulled the fck over and took a few shots from the car.. Then I said "fck it, I'm getting out to get some better shots... Cars were zooming 60mph + since it is a major highway here in NJ. I must've looked insane just pulling over and getting out the passenger side since the shoulder was too small for me to open the door on the driver's side...

September 30, 201113 yr Nice shots in here, but the first few, i would have focused in closer on the foreground, and some of the shots were blown out (lighting was way too bright). The second round of shots are leaps better! Keep up the good work and try different angles, get on the ground and shoot upwards, makes for a very dramatic shot.
September 30, 201113 yr Author Yea, I had borrowed a friends 50mm 1.4 lens but she didn't have a lens hood or anything which is why the overly bright shots... I didn't do anything to them, just tried to compensate during the photo taking ... I'll try and play with Picasa to see if I can correct the brightness...

February 3, 201213 yr Author my friend let me borrow his Sony a55 and it was an awesome camera.it is pretty awesome... it has autofocus in movie mode and with the new firmware it can do alot of creative photos on the fly... Color isolation; toy and other shit... It's just small feeling in my hands...
February 3, 201213 yr Nice photos man. Man, I have the hardest time with sunsets with the new digital cameras. Had no problem with film, but I can't get the sunset yet. But unfortunately I haven't had much time to experiment with it

February 3, 201213 yr Author well.. it ended up around $859 with a 4yr accidental seeing as how I cannot just replace this camera if I drop or break it...
