Here is what someone is offering me:

2 12" L5 Kicker Subs

2000 Watt performance teknique amp

Box the subs are in.

The wires.

All for $350 but I don't know if it's a good deal or not. I'll probably just end up buying the subs and the box but not the amp.

Do you think it's a good deal?

I think its a good deal but I dont know what kind of box it is, that could be the deciding factor for me. I know that isnt the best equipment in the world but for the price you cant beat it at all as long as everything is working correctly. If the box is a nice well built custom enclosure then yeah I would take the deal, this allows you to have a temporary budget system till you can get what you want. Then eventually you can replace subs and amps for something better. It depends how much you want to spend on some equipment and what you want, what is your overall budget? I would even try to bring the price down some if you can, money talks.

Good idea. Thanks all the posts and help guys. I'm glad to see a nice active forum who is willing to help newer members decide on what to do. You guys have really helped me a lot or else I probably would have made some really stupid decisions.

I don't think I'm gonna accept the deal unless he goes to a lower price. The box is really nice and is made for the kicker subs so chances are I will take the deal but he has to drop it down to $300. I'm still thinking about what exactly I should do. I just want to make sure I can resell them after I buy them, and then go with something on this site later on when I save up enough .
