Something about there were also a mention of you bashing someone's build-log and changing names. Well now that you posted in my new build-log seems your off to another bad start. LolIf you're using welding cable it accepts around 2-3/0Okay Im really interested in buying a 7KD but I have a question. First off a 1/0 gauge cable can only support 300-350 amps of draw yet your amps is pulling almost 800 with a load?Well thats not true,If you do the testing for yourself, you will see that one cable is enough We recommended a 72mm cable which is around 3/0 to 2/0 cable for the big amps and for the 7k2e only one 1/0 is fine and long you dont have the cable bigger than 4 feet long
November 25, 201113 yr Stetsom suggests a very short run of power cable. 3/0 will be a tight fit but, you can also buy the adapters that will allow either 2 or 5 inputs into the buss bar that then inputs into the single input.
November 25, 201113 yr Author ya if you read the manual it calls for 70mm power cable... which is closer to 3/0 gauge....i will be using 4/0 cable all through out the car.... plus the amp will be sitting on the battery bank so the power and ground wire will be less than a foot long...
