500/1 enough for a 15'' mag?

Is a JL 500/1 be enough power to really pound my mag 15'' D2? Also is there any other amps with comparable features/sq as the 500/1 for a less price and maybe a few more watts? I really like the 500/1 and have got many positive reviews. Does anyone have a birthsheet on one of these puppies?

    A 500/1 would be enough. A 1000/1 would be my choice. If you're getting a 15" Magnum I would give it more than 600 or so watts. Maybe look into US Amps, Xtant, and PPI's big boys for amps that have similar features and put out as much, or more, power.
