I'm thinking about buying two XS Power D3100 and one D1200, and the estimated shipping was $243.43 to NJ 07036? :WTFBubble:

I have readjusted the shipping module in our cart, please try again and you should see a more accurate price for your heavy items.

Still the same charge of $243.

Either way, I'll probably buy them from Summit, need a couple of things for my car as well.

What batteries are you loading in your cart?

Paid a little over $50 shipping for a sub from a few states away. Thought it was cheap, but dealing with ssa was easy and I knew it was insured. I'd just pay the shipping. Granted, I don't trust many online vendors so this could be my paranoia speaking.

Thought it was expensive**

Lol, just woke up. Sorry

Did you make sure to reset your browser and possibly clear all cookies, the new shipping module might not have shown up.

I just put in for 2 D3100's and shipping would have only been $171..... do what you want though.

I love how people are bitching about shipping shit. I shipped a 38Lbs woofer, that is VERY light, and I spent $80 shipping it.....

As a internet business it is hard to sell people(most people) on paying for shipping, that why most companies will offer a higher price for product, but will have free shipping listed everywhere on the page. It makes the customer feel like they are receiving something for free. And also the mental aspect of knowing what the price is, not seeing how much it will go up because of shipping. It is a very fine line, and tough game to play sometimes. But i truly believe that customer service will almost always trump price, within reason.
