Why the combination of sealed/ ported and 10/12s? Never seen it done before. Interesting though

We just built what the customer wanted, he didnt want to take our advice and just use the 12s ported... :ughdunno:

How does it sound? And, are the amps on switches, so you play each combo indipendantly? The best of both worlds, I guess.

Definitely a first for me. I wanna see vids haha

That is very strange! How did it turn out?

The customer is not always right

So his electrical isn't very up to par. stock alt and a XS d3100 under hood, memphis 2500.1 is only at 4ohms for now till he gets a new alt and another 3100. It sounded surprisingly good til the bench seat went in. I'm going to suggest bucket seats when customer picks up his vehicle tomorrow.

he's gonna rhino line the box into the bed.

Have you played the 10s and 12s separately to see if there is any cancellation or any noticeable difference?

If they are sent the same frequencies, there shouldn't be any cancellation, just different response curves. It should perform well, Alan Dante is using a combination of 18" and 12" woofers in his new SPL vehicle doing 180+.
