Posted November 18, 201113 yr I got a re sx 10 that needs a re-cone, so I was thinking about re-coning it to a 12 with the FI kit but before I pull the trigger I wanted to know what options to choose and what kind of difference can I expect going from a stock re sx to a fi re-coned sx.
November 18, 201113 yr It's not going to be a huge difference in performance as far as thermal power handling...mechanically it can be beefed up a little more.

November 22, 201113 yr You can if you want..it's not going to make a huge difference because you have no axial cooling vents inside of the motor..You might be better off reconing them, selling them as 'new' subs with fresh recones and picking up SSD's. They're leaps and bounds ahead of the SX
