I'm thinking about treating my self. Ive had my eye out on the re xxx comps for a while now. Seems impressive on YouTube haven't seen or heard them in live.I have a mmats sq160.4. It's 175x4 @2 ohms have anyone used or heared them and what do you think.

the mids look pretty deep, may be a problem getting them in the doors. if thats where you are putting them.

I live on an island so there a good chance the only way I'll get to hear them is by buying. I have 4 set of pa mids in my car they get loud no douth but lacking the mid bass so I'm looking to replace 2 sets with something that will get loud and better mid bass.

I have to lower model(re comps), and id vouch for them. Im sure the xxx ones are even better. Mids and highs are really clear. I cant speak for midbass since i have an 8" woofers in my doors for that. What really surprised me was how loud they got, much louder than my RF power comps(I have the RF comps on 100 watts while the re comps on only give 50). One thing to keep in mind the magnets are huge.

just to reiterate, i have no experience with the xxx comps, but the RE comps impressed me.
