Fi recommends around 31-35 hertz, you can read more about what you bought here:https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=154edf285b67004/shopdata/0070_Tech/0070_Speakers/0040_Tech.SSD/product_overview.shopscript
December 7, 201113 yr Author I thought 1500w on an ssd for daily is fine..i am planning to go to 4cu.ft or 4.2 cu.ft box tuned at 35hz but i am confused because just like what have you said i should go to 3.5 or 3.8 cu ft box...what are the cons of having a big box with that kind of power?should a 5inch or 6inches of port suffice?thanks...
December 7, 201113 yr Port area is very important. 1500 on an ssd is fine if you know how to set your gain properly.
December 7, 201113 yr Author I think there wouldnt be a problem in setting gains...my problem is the sub box...hehe...because i came from a 12incher...now i am shifting to a 15inch so i have no idea on what box should i use...i cant ask my friends because they also came from 12incher at the same time we are all shifting to single 15,one btl n2,one bl and a DP...im gonna be using a slotport/l port box...

December 7, 201113 yr Author So julian i should go to the 3.5 cu.ft box? Or 3.8?thanks for all your replies...i really appreciated it......
December 8, 201113 yr Author julian i am trying to figure out on how to use the torres calculator but i cant figure out if my inputs is correct...and i think i wouldnt put any bracing...can someone help me to achieve 3.5 cu ft with the tuning of 35 hz using the torres calculator with the said 77.02 in^ or more port area, my maximum depth would be 20 inches and my width at 34 inches. i tried using the RE box calculator and i came out with this computation... Uploaded with ImageShack.usi do not know if this is correct... i hope someone can help and enlighten me...better with a different box calculator that is more accurate than RE calculator or a torres calculator...thanks everyone.or even a different idea of a box that is upfiring or sub up port at the back...
