November 19, 201212 yr I want to see a rebuild. port on drivers side with a port like mine that molds around the subwoofers
November 19, 201212 yr Also I want to reinforce your roof with either a stripper pole or fiberglass on the roof.. or both actually.
November 19, 201212 yr Author Ya I def need to brace the roof.. Sounds like shit with it flexin so much. either gonna do a stripper pole + mdf on the roof or metal flat bars welded in. would be nice to see the difference in db's between a middle port and a driver side port as well.
December 5, 201212 yr Author Popular Post Got the triple inputs just waiting for more 4/0 cable and lugs to come in.
December 5, 201212 yr fiberglass is the easiest and best IMOI'd argue it's not the easiest, and perhaps not the best either. The strength of fiberglass comes from it's shape, and an entire flat surface such as a roof severely lacks such. In order for it to be rigid and actually brace the cabin it would have to be pretty thick. Materials are going to cost a lot more than metal and a few sheets of wood, and it'll require a substantial amount of time to set everything up and do it correctly. On the flip side it could aesthetically look nicer.
December 5, 201212 yr Author Ya im gonna brace with metal..weld some bars and a plate across my roof then do a pole that can bolt and unbolt when I need it to.
December 5, 201212 yr We've used the fiberglass method on a few cars and it works perfectly, you can install the headliner... MDF roofs are illegal in some orgs.
