i was gonna see what you guys thought i have a 70 amp alt lying around and im gonna rebuild it...but i was gonna see if it is enough to handle the load of my amp (soundstream 2000d) i can make a bracket and fit it in and just use the second one for the stereo....i dont have 590 bucks lying around for a new mechman....i was just curuios if it could handle it....

Yes wichita falls tx lol and I guess I'm gonna have to quit being cheap and buy a mechman......I just didn't know if I could get by with running a separate alt and battery just for the system

Sorry dde that you live there. I was stationed there for 6 months and hated every day of my life. Lol

I would just save up and monitor your voltage until you're ready to make the big purchase. You may not need one depending on your listening hAbits

I was only stationed in wichita falls for 3 1/2 months but i loved it there lol, but in that situation even though its a fair chunk of cash id definitely save up for an HO alt.
