Posted February 9, 201213 yr Im looking for some advice on killing the rattle from my sliding sunroof cover. When it's slid open, it's ridiculously loud, but when it's closed, it's not bad at all. I'm planning on dropping the headliner to put some damplifier up there soon. Just don't want to go in blind and waste product.
February 9, 201213 yr Depending on ur budget and abilities i would recommend a pack of second skin alpha damp. Minimal applying and goes a huge way as far as silencing. One sheet of the alpha damp on the outter skin of the sliding cover and you should be golden and then would have enough to.do.ur roof and doors. 1 pack did my whole astro van roof and all.
