Anybody know a good, free program for taking music off my old iPod to my new computer. I have tried searching around and all I find are expensive ones or free ones that allow only a hundred songs to transfer. I need something free that will get my whole library from my iPod to my new computer's iTunes account and subsequently on to my phone and other iPod.

I tried that with my ipod touch, fawked up a bunch..... I hate itunes

Irip worked great. I had to download a copy with a cracked serial code so I could do more than 100 tracks. Of the 3700 songs I had, I lost less than 20 or so because the files were corrupted"

Idump works too.

Go to control panel, folder options, view, then tick, *show hidden files and folders*

Go to my computer and look up your ipod, click on ipod control, copy and paste the folders over.

You don't need any special programs to get the music..an ipod is simply just a harddrive with an os on it.
