Posted February 19, 201213 yr Anybody know a good, free program for taking music off my old iPod to my new computer. I have tried searching around and all I find are expensive ones or free ones that allow only a hundred songs to transfer. I need something free that will get my whole library from my iPod to my new computer's iTunes account and subsequently on to my phone and other iPod.

February 20, 201213 yr Author Irip worked great. I had to download a copy with a cracked serial code so I could do more than 100 tracks. Of the 3700 songs I had, I lost less than 20 or so because the files were corrupted" Edit*Why does iTunes not have a feature for this built in?? Edited February 20, 201213 yr by Chainsaw
February 21, 201213 yr Go to control panel, folder options, view, then tick, *show hidden files and folders*Go to my computer and look up your ipod, click on ipod control, copy and paste the folders over. You don't need any special programs to get the music..an ipod is simply just a harddrive with an os on it.
