April 8, 201312 yr Looking good! Although I would say maybe add some sort of internal bracing. Especailly for the lower notes man. I think I'm going to have to add some 1.5" dowels in my box.

April 9, 201312 yr If it was me, I would seriously consider at least placing some 1.5" dowels in the appropiate places. From looking at the final pic, I would cound maybe 3-5 of them total. Not doubting your design at all. Just speaking from my personal experience with the evil.
April 9, 201312 yr Author That is not the final picture and there are braces in the port, just not in the picture you see. I used mdf centered in the port almost the length excluding the bend.

April 11, 201312 yr Author Over all the box looks good and there are some spots where the mdf spread, but I don't think it will cause a problem. Tomorrow I will pull al the staples out of the seams in the carpet and it should look pretty nice. Also need to get some 1/4 20 button head bolts for the lexan and get it in place. Then I shall evily wait untill the sub arrives.
