SPL-Lab is a company based in Russia that manufacturers sound pressure meters primarily for car audio competition but can also be used for other environments based on measuring techniques.

SPL-Lab has been around since 2007 and has had a distributor in North America since 2nd Quarter of 2010.

That is us! We are the authorized distributor for SPL-Lab for Canada, USA, Mexico and South America.

What products do you have to offer?

We offer pressure meters that use a sensor rather than a microphone to measure pressure. We have a total of 7 pressure meters, 4 of which are purely used for measuring bass or lower frequencies (from 120hz and below) and 3 totally different types of RTA meters than can measure from 10hz up to 22khz if necessary.

What makes one product different from another?

Our 4 different pressure meters that measures lower frequencies each have their own place. The USB meter and USB Pro meter are like meters except the Pro meter uses 2 sensors simultaneously rather than just one sensor. The LCD meter is a portable meter that requires no computer! This is especially useful if in an area that has no computer access. The Wireless Bluetooth meter can be controlled via a computer or an Android device. Because of the versatility, it's more convenient to use this type of meter because the control device is typically something you may already own!

Why would one need a pressure meter?

This is an interesting question as there are many uses for such and one must pay close attention to which company they choose to go with as not all meters are the same.

The hardware and software is geared primarily toward the audio market to meet the need to accurately measure pressure up to 180db and higher (special order only for accuracy over 180 and under 194db) and environmental measurements of up to 130db-140db.

Our products are built not only for accuracy, not only to save your wallet, but also for convenience. Based upon the capabilities of the pressure meters offered by SPL-Lab, they require the least amount of hardware out of any other company similar and as accurate as our meters are. All hardware, of course, is included and no required software installation or licensing transfers ever required!(NOTE: For use with running shows, our software requires a license to use our database function. End user usage is always free.)
