I was snooping around the internets trying to find housing and whatnot....

Does anyone know of any FREE sites to browse housing and get all the data for them without having to pay? Specifically looking for foreclosures and bankruptcies ...

Anyone with knowledge in this area or can offer some assistance it would be greatly appreciated... THANKS!!

What kind of info are you looking for? Are you looking to become an investor, or just buy a single house for yourself?

This is all public information. Your local County/City building will have all the info you need for free.

Oh, didn't think of that... I was searching online thinking it'd be the best place to get it... So, if I want information on different counties for example.. I'd have to visit their municipal building for records???

Thanks TIre...

Both to be honest, but the latter being most important... I have some monies saved up and some possibly coming to me and I cannot stay at home anymore... Plus getting kinda serious with the lady so might have a +1 ... lol

All I can say is good luck. I hope you have a LOT of construction experience. That is the only way buying these types of houses is worthwhile. Most are a mess, and the ones that aren't, aren't any cheaper than a normal house.

If you were closer I could hook you up with an agent who does repo's. Thoses houses go very cheap based on their selling price.

Hmmm. Well a current job offer is likely in Pennsylvania but Philly. Is it far from your area?

3.5-4 hours depending on where in Philly.
