I'm trying to learn more about sound dampening and audio systems.

I just ordered 1 Bulk Pack Damplifier Pro - 36 sq feet and 9 sq foot sheet of Overkill from Second Skin Audio.

The vehicle I'm working on is a 98 Jeep ZJ 5.9L

Right now I'm trying to kill the tire noise some, next will be installing a new audio system.

Sorry no real flex shots other than this when I took it out 2 week ago and found out I needing to do some more trimming and fine tuning with a hammer. Drove it off road for 2 ways like this, luckily nothing ripped off.

Welcome to SSA. A quality Mass Layer Vinyl will help with tire noise. Firewall, wheel wells and floor. :)

I received my sound dampening order but it's been raining all day so I have to put off installing it.

So I just ordered 2 dash radio trim bezels from eBay, I plan on modifying my jeep's 1 1/2 din making it into a double din. I think by using pieces off 2 trim bezels I can make a double din bezel that looks like factory.
