March 14, 201213 yr What subs do you have and why are you trying to break them in?The best way to break them in is to play them at a loud, but safe, listening level. Just as you would when they are broken in.

March 14, 201213 yr So just use them...simple...Correct.(Except if you have a digital desings 95 or DD Z series subwoofer and want to overpower them in a small enclosure. Then you need to be gentle in the beginning because the spiders are too stiff.)
March 22, 201213 yr if its a really stiff subs the fastest way to me was to have the subs out of the box in free air & play 20hz cycles at low volume for a couple hrs per day until they loosen up
