Simple question...what is the best way to break them in? Any specific notes i should try...maybe a sweap? 30hz-100hz? Sumthing like that?

What subs do you have and why are you trying to break them in?

The best way to break them in is to play them at a loud, but safe, listening level. Just as you would when they are broken in.

Set them up properly and they will break in over time.

That'll do it. :fing34:

So just use them...simple...

Correct.

(Except if you have a digital desings 95 or DD Z series subwoofer and want to overpower them in a small enclosure. Then you need to be gentle in the beginning because the spiders are too stiff.)

if its a really stiff subs the fastest way to me was to have the subs out of the box in free air & play 20hz cycles at low volume for a couple hrs per day until they loosen up

My way like most is to have the amp ajusted right and let them play.bananaDance.gif
