it is getting a lot better though. Use a jigsaw this time instead of a rock and chizzle? To clean the edges up on the box use a jig saw, unless you're not too crafty with one. in that case use a belt sander with some 60 grit.

Quit buying all those damn drivers and get yourself a router and some Jasper jigs. IT'll be your best investment to date.

Router works better. Pretty hard to mess it up using a router too.

Its slicker than chit though, just chuck it in the router, flip the switch, make a few passes and its nice again. Oughta look into one, pretty nice bit to have.

And also, with the sander its pretty easy to round over the edges where you don't want it, it dosen't happen with a router.

Then use a roundover bit after using a straight and it will be clean enough to laminate...

Getting better Flakko, you might benefit from a finer blade tip for your jigsaw all the glue makes it almost like metal to bits. Takes a little longer but makes it easier to handle.

Also if you want to make straight cuts with your skil-saw, use those sweet clamps you have to hold an uncut piece of mdf against the saw as a straight edge. Takes an extra minute per cut max and your lines are perfect as long as your blade is okay. The trick is to use the saw to measure where you clamp on both ends...
