April 24, 201213 yr I thought once you hooked the gain knob controller up with the clip indicator it was the one you go by
April 24, 201213 yr Most amps use the initial gain setting at the amp and the bass knob acts as a remote level control. I don't have first hand experience with crescendo but to my knowledge that is how it should be and I'd be willing to bet that your gain is set too high on the amp.
April 24, 201213 yr I messed with it it didn't fix itWhat do you mean? Do you have any idea how to set the gain, or are you really just "messing with it"? There are plenty of people on here willing to help but you are making it difficult.
April 24, 201213 yr find someone with experiance before you blow the amp and blame cresendo. the bass knob is not the gain. voltage ohm load and rca input voltage need to be measured and set by a pro...

April 24, 201213 yr And I'm not making it difficult. It's called troubleshooting it's not alway easygoing fix stuff
