i currently ordered a btl 18 with 2100w amp and i also got a new high output alternator and kinetic HC 1800 high current power cell to replace my standad battery and was wondering if i need another battery?? just confused because do i need one under my hood and one next to the amp or just one? and if i need two can i get one smaller one for the back?

it cant hurt but imho monitor how ur voltage holds up 1st b4 u buy another battery

It will definitly help with voltage drop to the amp. Is it nessecary, no for best sound and output yes.eek5wavey.gif
